Those couples clients where British citisens with Thai wifes who are mostly down to Swinging Sex. They Charge each participants 300 baht.

Maybe it was intended as a warning to people organising events in Hua Hin. It seems that it is illegal to charge an entrance fee if people are going to enjoy themselves.

pretty much the same as most cars have a 5 wheels on board, one as a spare, in case of emergency

Looks like they weren't really "couples" and the British national and his Thai wife had really just 'rounded up' a whole load of hookers for foreign tourists from lots of different places.

So, the Brit and his Thai wife will be 'done for' arranging prostitution services. Prostitution laws are rarely enforced here in this fashion. I smell that they are going to be made an example of in a show trail to give off an image-building impression as it is internationally news worthy.

A source said Mr Richard was arrested last month after police raided a hotel room in Bangkok's Huai Khwang and found 50 people in the room.
However, he was freed without charge as he claimed he was using the room to hold a birthday party.

To me it sounds like he was basically given a warning first time around and was then foolish enough to carry on with his activities.
