How many of us feel globalised?
As a Yorkshireman I know where my roots are but, it's all changed there now and I guess that applies to all over the globe
Many of us if not all, have travelled and been resident in different countries. Despite our roots have we adapted to different cultures and cuisines?
I certainly have. I'm a stalwart believer in adapting to the country I live in and dare I say it again, Integrated as far as I can into the culture
I know many that do not want to. They must have their little piece of 'home' country 99% of the time. OK. I like to meet up with my fellow countrymen and have my Yorkshire cuisine but not all the time!
I didn't come to Thailand to live on an estate surrounded by Brits and go out and eat Yorkshire fare every day
Although a Yorkshireman I now consider myself an 'internationalist'
The best form of education is travel
Anybody agree or disagree?
