hi all how long will it take from bangkok airport to hua hin some say 3 hours some say 2 hours is the roads motorways

It takes 2 hours 41mins and 30 seconds exactly.

Depends if you stop to go to the loo, I did, so it took me 2 hours 42 mins and 59.8 Seconds.

The road is pretty good, in places, but certainly not a motorway, I find the journey fairly pleasant - subject to the quality of the driver.

Depends on the time of day, day of the week, and traffic... it can take anywhere from just over two hours to four hours or more...

Anyone that has traveled to BKK recently, is it still terminal/exit 10 for the metered taxi's?

Boy, what a headache to find out where to catch a PROPER taxi just to BKK!

Not sure, but it is "fairly well" signposted, you have obviously realised you need to avoid the touts.

One tip, try going upstairs to the far end of the departures where you will find loads of taxis who having dropped off are eager to find a return trip, thus avoiding their, and your, need to queue, and saving you 50 Baht.

If you go to the far end of departures as suggested above, there is now a small taxi rank where cars that have just dropped someone off can legally get a return fare.
