I've never heard of or experienced a moth problem in Thailand. However, all or most of my wool clothing is long gone, even business suits, so perhaps they are not attracted to tropical cottons etc?

Regardless, stores are loaded with the 'old reliable'...moth balls. They tend to use them here in urinals as well as a deodorant.

Probably more exotic and less strong smelling alternatives. Stay tuned for further replies. Pete

How long are you leaving the clothes for?

I leave mine in good old plastic boxes if i'm off for a few months.

Never had any problems with my clothes.

A little cloth bag of cedar chips if you can get them. Put in drawers or closets.

Some of the below should be available locally - also if you can't get e.g. Lavender you may get the oil...

Natural Moth Repellents
Dried lavender
Cloves
Rosemary
Mint
Thyme
Cinnamon sticks
Eucalyptus
Peppercorns
Dried lemon peel
Cedar (chips, balls, planks or essential oil–cedar lined closets, drawers or trunks)
