St. Georges Day

Post by Sabai Jai »

To all whom it may concern

I would like to wish a very pleasant St Georges Day to All!

I really would like to see this day celebrated - sensibly of course, not too heavy on pit bulls and tattoo's

Here in London we welcome celebrations from just about all countries but can't seem to get it together for our own National Day.

Regards Sabai Jai

Thank you SJ - saw a few flags of St. George being flown today, from vehicles and hanging from windows.

I thought that St George was Turkish and never even came to England, am I wrong.

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

St Georges Day

With the possible exception of Mags Mum, who fretted that St Georges day might somehow interfere with her bin collections, I'm afraid it passed largely unnoticed up North! Nice sentiment though OP
