sea fishing

Is there any big game boats based in hua hin ,i've had a look at the freshwater fishing places website but cannot find any salty fishing info,any help?

EDIT since found the mermaid cruises web but thats not what i'm looking for.after harcore sailfih,tuna and wahoo type fishing.

I think you need to be on the West coast rather than in the Gulf! but there are barracuda around

I'm no expert, but agree with NOKYAI that thee are barracuda although I've heard that they're a bit further south around the Bang Saphang area. Maybe off HH as well?
I've been out rod fishing a few times in a traditional fishing boat off HH and down to Khao Takiab but havn't caught very much. We got stuck into some stingray but they were impossible to get up with the tackle we had.

There is some very good game fishing around Koh Tao. Big Marlin sailfish, king mackerel and barracuda. The water doesn't get very good till you get around Bang sapan. The best fishing you can get in HH is off the pier at night or early morning

the fishing is ok here,but you need the right bait and decent tackle ,we went out night fishing three days ago and caught about twenty snapper and a couple of grouper all about 3-4 kilos but that is not every trip

Have some of you folks tryed the Mai Thai fishing boat ?
Some had a link to their homepage and it looks nice but i think it is more like a ordinary boat trip and not only seafishing.
