I am trying to find a store that sells a heavy duty, unbleached cotton cloth suitable for making cushion covers for my outdoor furniture. So far I have only turned up suiting cloth and dress fabrics ( I checked two stores along the street where "Chic" salon is located)
Not sure if they make a waterproof fabric now, or something treated for the occasional soaking and quick drying when I forget them out in the rain . .but such a fabric would also be great.
I want unbleached fabric because they do get a LOT of sun and any color or pattern will quickly fade.

Hi Chas,
Take soi 88 and turn right just before railway crossing (pass Chan Sawang restaurant), about 100 metres on right side is a shop selling exactly what you´re after, They even fit it on your cushions if you like.

3M makes a 'scotch guard' spray product especially for treating fabrics that will be out in weather. It works well if you reapply about every three months. I've never looked for it here but would think the top end hardware places may have it. White and red aerosol can with a big 3M logo on it. Pete

Parbeau, thanks so much!
I found the place with your directions . .though I think there might be two soi 88's?? I rumbled along on the dirt "soi" next to the RR tracks for a bit from the one I took.
Anyway, your best direction was the Chan Sawang right on the corner. The soi 88 you want is that major soi which ends at the small "disfunction junction" (continuing over the RR tracks slightly to the left) where nobody or everybody has the right of way. The shop is about 100 meters down on the same side as the restaurant.
The folks were very nice. They made my five cushion covers within four days and at a very reasonable price. Plenty of selection of fabrics too, and I found exactly what I wanted.
So this is the second HH business in the past few weeks that I have been very pleased with and would return to. . .the other being the picture framing place near where the vans take off for Bangkok.
Thanks HHAD!
