Swedish food!

Post by Farang »

There’s a gem of a little Swedish restaurant called Eva´s hidden on soi 39 abt. 50 meters from
Phetskasem Road. At the Eva’s the traditional goodies are available:

Skomakarlåda, Slottstek, Bruna bönor med saltfläsk, Tjälknöl, Dillkött, Kalops med rödbetor,
Köttfärs med lingonsylt, Fiskgratäng med hummersås and, above all, Janssons frästelse.

Those who know of the excellent Swedish food should be overjoyed. Those who do not know of it,
should get to know it.

The food is excellent and the prices are very good as well.

Yummi - sounds great. Thanks for the tip. Do they have a real Swedish chef like the one from the Muppet Show? (Never really understood why they put Swedish language subtitles under him on Swedish TV - he spoke perfect Shweeedish.)

Sorry, Ladies and Gents, I am just a very satisfied customer, not a chef. In fact, if you appear at San Paulo for
stomach pump and say you've eaten my cooking, you'll get both quantity discount and repeat customer bonus.

I do not have Eva´s menu here, but I do assure the food is good. They have a menu in English, and the food is solid,
straight forward, reliable and safe, much like pub-grub, really. Remember, these people build both Saab and Volvo.

Go and test the place. I dare say you'll not be disappointed.

The Koenigsegg CCXR!

Post by hhfarang »

Maybe this Swedish car will do better. It has over 1000 horsepower, will do 0 to 100 Km in a neck wrenching 2.9 seconds, top speed over 250 mph (yes, that's miles per hour... over 400 kilometers per hour... that's Hua Hin to Bangkok in under 30 minutes!) and is green friendly as it can run on bio fuel.

Image

It only costs 1.2 million U.S. dollars...
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

ARVO!!!

Hi There hhfarang I believe the Comapny that procuces these Beauties is called Koenigsegg. Each car is produced 60% by hand and they only produce only 20 of thoses Super sportscars per year
The latest News is that Koenigsegg have the intend to buy Saab of from GM but the swedish Govt, isn;t keen about the Idea that such a small manufacturer would swallow a massmanufacturer of Cars. but it;s the only way though Saab can stay affloat. They have allready filed for Bankruptcy I remember correctly

Back to Topic:
A well known swedish dish Known all over the World from IKEA are those Swedish Meatballs a. k. a. köttbullar served with gravy, boiled Potatoes and a bit of Lingonberry Jam sometimes served with Cucumbers... HMMM DELICIOUS!!!!!
