The only Chinese dish I like is 'Lemon Chicken' :| Do you serve this generally or do you know any places that serve this all the time.

Proper chinese curry sauce or that crap one with fruit in it ? Proper pancake rolls or the usual finger sized thai ones ? The right answers might get me out after dark for a change :D

Tony_S, spoke to Bill today even though he is in Rehab; said you can’t please all the people all the time BUT he said, that if you come along on the quiz night we’ll let you try our lemon chicken. Alternatively, you could always try the Peking Garden High Street Hornchurch, Essex they do a very good Lemon chicken every night of the week!

Hi Crazy Nic here, Bill’s still away but should be back for the quiz night.

He told me to tell you, you keep threatening to come down but never do, but I can tell you we only make the real thing here. I have never heard of fruity curry sauce and the Pancake rolls are big fat and juicy with Chinese pork, prawns, bean and Bamboo shoots the real thing.

When I visit Bill at the sanatorium next, shall I tell him you’ll be coming?

Off topic a bit but just been to the Buffalo Bill's and I saw the biggest Yorkshire puddings I've ever seen come out, looks like they have them well sorted.

Only place in Thailand I have found quality Yorkshire Pudding is 'The Yorkshire Inn' in Phuket (of course owned by a Yorkshire man)

Tony-S you’ve never been to the Buffalo Tavern then I take it? As said before, you're more than welcome to come and try our Lemon Chicken and I’ll give you your own Yorkshire pudding made by me a South African and I'll wager it will be the best you've had.

There the gauntlet is down! Or I suppose you'll be in Qatar or the UK?

Nic.

First time for us at Bill 's quiz night.

A very enjoyable evening with a friendly (if competitive) crowd. Made a nice change and reminded me of being in my local back home.

The food was good and lots of it. The questions were pitched at the right level. (something for everyone)

We only dropped in to see what it was like but ended up playing.

The question master did a very good job but I'm sure his throat would have appreciated a small PA this morning. (is he from Leicester? didn't sound like it)

Now if we had only played our joker in the film round......... Blast!
We will know better next time

Every month? Bi monthly?

Thx to all those concerned.

Turned up late due to unexpected appointments .Proper chinese takeaway pancake rolls instead of those crap glass noodle things most places serve here and a curry sauce worthy of any respectable chip .Thought i wouldn,t make the second round of food, but the sauce on the lemon chicken forced me through the pain barrier .There was a LOT of food and I mean a LOT .Couldn't beleive it when I got the tab .Bill and lorraine ,excellent hosts as always must have done a bit of hoisting somewhere to knock it out that cheap .Didn't have room for a pint of stowford press after but I will be back .
