New Restaurant; Fahsai

Post by Lung Per »

There are now a number of restaurants on the road along the railroad track, from the station to Soi 88. Kim's Kitchen is one of them and seems to be well known.
I wish to draw your attention to what I believe is a recently opened restaurant in the same area, located between Soi 80 and Kim's Kitchen. It's name is FAHSAI and it features European as well as Thai dishes. I have eaten there several times and often bring my guests there. The restaurant is nice and quiet (apart from the street noise and an occassional choo-choo which is common for all restaurants in the area.) The owner, a Thai lady who has spent several years in Brussels, Belgium (and married to a Swede) has a pleasant personality, and provides a fine service. The food is no less than excellent and the prices are very attractive. The menu offers a wide variety of European and Thai dishes. Go try it out - you really get value for your money. :D

Good info, LP.
Visited the place and the food is really good, prices are OK and the service is polite and warmly welcoming.

To round off a very pleasant experience, I got the very best cup of cappucino I've had in HH past ten years.

And there is one more thing worth noting; The place is CLEAN and neat. And that goes for the kitchen as well as the rest room, too. Bon Appetit. 8)

As the restaurant coincidentally has the same name as our house, I guess it would be rude not to try it the next time we're in town. It's always good to find good new places.
