JW, thanks for the offer but If you could get the names and maybe emails that would be better, oh and if you could please tell all that we are also doing fully loaded toppings on our pizzas, where you can even see anchovies (not taste anchovy paste) also mushrooms, capsicums and olives all recognisable (spelt the right way) and not an orange / yellow cheesy mess.
And there will be no Goulash for the Russians that will be here on the night.

Get a P.A. system for the quizmaster! No need to repeat question 4 times over that loud fun crowd.

Food has been GREAT and a real bargain but far too much. Filled up on first plate last time. Had to push it down when second plate arrived and could not eat it all.

Sorry Barry, it’s just a little joke, somebody thought we should serve Goulash to any Russians that may be in town. He should have said Hungarians, as you rightly pointed out

After clicking on this topic . .I see that this is Bill's latest self-promotion thread.

But having arrived here, I will respond on the topic "Probably the Best Italian in Town" and offer my own selection for probably the best in town.

I would have to vote for Ciao Restaurant at the Marriott! Worldclass Italian IMHO. . . with topnotch service and ambiance to boot . .and yes, it is pricey . . .but well worth it. Coco51 also turns out wonderful pasta dishes as I commented in another thread.

They always have a PA at the Pub Quizes I go to. I don't think I've been to a quiz in the last 20 years without a PA.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd
