Ideally we are looking for villas/condo type set up around a pool, with 2-6 rooms per accommodation. You can sit outside as a group around the pool and have a drink. It's a stag night, so don't want any hassle with bringing girls back. Pretty good bunch of guys.
If this is not viable then hotel or large guest houses that can offer the same perks.
Any suggestions on accommodation, bars or restaurants that can cater for this size of group would be helpful. Trying to book now.

try the sailom hotel, that has two pools.AND they do NOT allow any hakey pankey !!!!

Well, don't want to sound contradictory but you sounded respectable with the title in the OP but then drifted into a "Stag Party".
Better off with "Every man for himself" because that's probably what it'll turn into, especially if it's a bunch of western teachers. Bintabaht will be busy as they will exercise their discretion on all fronts, regardless, it's an opportunity that doesn't come up too often,

It won't be a quiet "Get together" round a camp fire, it'll be "Guns blazing" and let's "mix it up" I'm sure.
It''ll be a right laugh and lots will push the envolope, wherever you stay, accommodation will be academic.

Resolve dissolves in alcohol
Had a group of freinds (10 guys) stay last month at the evergreen botique hotel. Was perfect for what u want if it is available? We booked the whole hotel as has only 8 rooms built around a swimming pool. Got a very good rate due to low season. Was great fun and the pool partys were very satisfying!! Well for "teachers" what about Cattareya Condotel at Cha am? According to the hotel’s website you will have to endure sharing the hotel with 600 trainee airline hostesses which can result in lift delays.
