Complaints and Concerns

Post by Lung Per »

In a different thread I made a comment about complaints over HH traffic conditions in relation to ASEAN, but also about complaints and concerns in general.
I suggested that complaints and concerns be raised directly with Thai authorities/persons. Complaining and expressing concern in this forum, as many of us do, really gets us nowhere if this is not followed by action, e.g. a letter to the appropriate authority.
So, it would be interesting to know how many of you have complained or made positive suggestions for improvement directly to a Thai authority or person in charge? And what was the reaction/outcome??

The only person I ever knew of that tried to actually address foreigner complaints here as a go between or mediator was the late Khun Tuck. (RIP)

I could be wrong but I think any complaints/suggestions would pretty much fall on deaf ears here and you would be invited to go find a more suitable (to your tastes) place to live.

My (Thai) wife and many (Thai) residents who live in my area have lodged complaints about the condition of the roads in our neighborhood to authorities at the Tessabaan to no avail.

 Please follow the correct procedure

1....Paint red yellow and blue circles on your back
2....Write your complaint complete with passport No on ones penis
3....Place said penis in mincer
4....Turn handle

Is this for real?

Seriously, the only way you'll get a 'complaint' attended to by anyone in 'authority' in this country is by paying them a lot of money or being very good friends with someone that has enough clout to do something.

Secondly nobody gives a rats arse what the aliens think anyway, we're just tourists at the end of the day.
