It must be a bit embarrassing to have a ship-wreck that near to the pier, it's a bit like writing your car off trying to get out of the garage.

Google Earth's brilliant, just wish they'd update the images once every 20 years or so

Agree SJ on both counts. Managed to find my grandfathers grave in Nth France using same - he has been there for 91 years though.

Google Earth's brilliant, just wish they'd update the images once every 20 years or so

They use older images because it's free; you can get more up to date images from a few companies if you want them, but you have to pay quite a lot.
I drive over that bridge a couple of times every time but I've never noticed that capsized ship so I'll have a look when I'm back next month.
