It must be a bit embarrassing to have a ship-wreck that near to the pier, it's a bit like writing your car off trying to get out of the garage.

Google Earth's brilliant, just wish they'd update the images once every 20 years or so :shock:

Agree SJ on both counts. Managed to find my grandfathers grave in Nth France using same - he has been there for 91 years though.

They use older images because it's free; you can get more up to date images from a few companies if you want them, but you have to pay quite a lot.
I drive over that bridge a couple of times every time but I've never noticed that capsized ship so I'll have a look when I'm back next month.
