Camera Shop

Post by sandman67 »

well it seems my memory was wonky and there isnt a decent camera shop in Hua Hin.

I want to get a decent zoom lens for a Nikon D5000 and some odds and ends like filters and a monopod and backpack case

Is there a decent camera shop within the area at all? Anywhere?

Please tell me I dont have to troll round sodding BKK again....

The only one I know of is the small one on the second floor of Market Village. I doubt they have what you want but you could check.

There is also one in that new area on the third floor. They actually have some SLRs so may be a better bet.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Thanks for that link mate - Bangers it is then.

I rarely surf for websites here as Thai businesses usually dont bother having one, or have a half arsed ones with little or no useful content. This is a proper commercial site, albeit one only available in Thai. Still, the map is useful....looks like its a call in on the way to the airport then.

Cheers for the help bro

Why not order online and have them send the stuff?

AFAIK bigcamera is a serious company and would do a good job.

Buying in Singapore
Not looked for nikon gear but I have just bought a Canon and I got a deal on it but things are just about the same price as discount prices in the UK. Only benift is you can get the GST back at the airport if your a tourist.
If you want PM me what you want and I will get some prices to compare, of course you may be able to get better deal face to face.

With no real significant savings to be had then the choices will be either Jessops and reclaim the VAT or if you are now an expat..........Dixons Duty Free........... :|
