Makro

Post by pharvey »

I'm sure that I've seen something on this somewhere in the forum, but haven't been able to find, so apologies in advance.

Basically, I'm heading to Hua Hin for Christmas and New Year (well tomorrow actually) with she who must be obeyed. We'll be furnishing the house and whilst obviously we'll need to visit several places, Makro seems to come up a few times as a reasonably priced option to pick up some of the necessities.

Q1 - Where exactly is Makro? I'm upto "it's South of Hua Hin".
Q2 - If it's a "Cash & Carry" type deal, do I need to be a member to shop there? If so is it straight forward to get a card?

It's South heading towards Pranburi, on the other side of the road just North of where the road splits for the by-pass to Cha Am, you have to do a U-turn.
You don't need a card, it's a normal store, not a cash and carry.
