I once stayed in a guest house that had a wall full of photos of old Pattaya and it was literally a small collection of fishing shacks.

Just for FYI:

Photo 3 is of Pratamak Road as it winds down the hill into Pattaya. It was built as HRM has a house up there.

Photo 4 with the tree in the middle of the road is where Walking Street now begins. The girl walking out from the left is at the beach end of South Pattaya road.

Photo 17-18-19 is Pattaya bay and beach taken from north to South. Beach road is now right where those fringe palm trees are. Pete

Great link - it's amazing how those photos could have been taken yesterday in many up country Thai towns!
