Secure and quick mail service to UK

Post by duan »

I need to send an urgent document back to the UK and would be very grateful for advice based on personal experience as to the safest and quickest service. I have in mind using either the post office or DHL but have no experience of either here in Hua Hin.
Many thanks

Forget HH post office if the document is important. Any other post office via EMS or use TNT, DHL or similar

Having said that. Never had a problem from HH PO if using EMS

I find that if you pay the small premium for the 'Signed For' service, it's always been reliable.

I used the post office in Hua Hin in november, i sent a shoe size box to the U.k on a recorded signed for service no problem arrived to my supprise 3 or 4 days later cost was 1350 baht they even had a plastic banding machine to secure your parcel.
I think the service was fine after reading not so good story's else where, and the price is on about the same par as the U.K under 2kg's as we send presents to my wife's family 2 or 3 times a year.

Kendo.

Many thanks for the input. Having spoken to my thai friends here none of them trust the post office so I have decided to use DHL whose charge is 1240 baht.
