Madam Green Restaurant

Post by lomuamart »

A friend of my father's is over at the moment and had the above restaurant recommended to him.
I've never heard of it, but from the information I got it sounds like it might be a beach place in Khao Takiab.
Can anyone help out with location and a review of what the food's like?
Thanks.

Madam Green

Hi Guys
Can this be shared on the forum rather than by PM please?
Reason I am interested is this place was also mentioned to me a couple of weeks ago by some Malaysian visitors - it is supposed to be quite famous. I was told it is "Auntie Green" in Thai.
Cheers

Food good, but i felt that i was well overcharged on the price of fish etc, i was the only foreigner in the restaurant. The Thai people with me said it was a rip off!

I thought our culinary expert would probably know the place.
JW, whereabouts is it in Khao Takaib? Near Bluewave?

Madame Green is the very best seafood restaurant in Hua Hin I've ever eaten in. Usually you shall have to reserve on
fri, sat, sun nights but other days you may just walk in. A suberb place just at the sundown, when there's still free
seating at the very edge of the water. Truly, truly exquisite food and you see and hear the waves 15 meters from you.

Madame Green was the best kept secret in HH.

On top picture I've marked the location 7/11 store, as I recall there's one, just on the corner of the small
soi leading to Mme Green.

Always found the place to be well overpriced and not keen on the manky dogs lying about. Must be missing something as I think think there are far better Seafood places at cheaper places by the sea at Pak Nam Pran

Maybe we hit them on a bad day or ordered the wrong thing, but the wife and I went there once and thought the food very ordinary and prices a little high... atmosphere nil and filled with Thais in large groups eating and drinking whiskey.

We haven't, and probably won't go back as there are many better choices in Hua Hin and Takiab.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I confirm Farang's advise on it.

When in Takiab, heading south, this will be on your left hand side and the corner of this soi is occupied by a massage parlor.

I went there the 1st time with my son's father in law. Never been disappointed.
