TaMaybe cook it yourself. Then you could complain and rant as you usually do or better still compare it with the wonders of KK. Wink

Thanks for all the POSITIVE posts. seems I have a good few to choose from. Would buy my own steak and cook it to my liking but no cooking facilities in the condo. With the price of good steak here its got to be how you as an individual like it or its a waste of money.
Not as though youve have a second grade bowl of noodles on the street where you can forget the cost and choose another vendor next time

A GOOD and TENDER steak is really hard to find in Thailand. The meat of the local beef cattle is not for human consumption but for industrial purposes such as the manufacturing of shoe-soles.
Be sure to get Australian, or better yet, Argentinian beef if you can.
Don't really know of any restaurants in HH other than Coco's 51 that serve an edible steak.
Bon Appetit!

As others have mentioned, if you want a good tender steak for 300 baht, go to Nata's on Soi 88. Get it with pepper sauce, Bearnaise, or mushroom sauce with vegies and your choice of potatoe, cooked exactly as rare or as well done as you want it.
Oh, and it's across from the Mark Winn Hotel, not the Mark Twain.

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I do remember, whilst doing a review for Tattler Mag, we visited the French Brassier restaurant down by the pier restaurants. Sorry don't remember the name but you had to go upstairs to get to it and it had a sign of a french chef by the door.
Someone with a better memory, help me out with the name please.
I chose a medium rare Chateaubriand steak and it was beautifully cooked as were the vegetables. Just enough blood to keep you happy Richard.
Even though I did not have to pay for the meal, I would still give it 9 out of 10.
That's supposing the place still exists.

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.
