Exchange Rates at BKK Airport?

I will be arriving early April - I've arranged for a pick up Taxi [fare 2000 THB] from the airport to HH. I will need to pay the driver. Are the exchange rates at the Airport Kiosks reasonable or a rip off?

As you come out of the arrivals customs exit, there are a couple of ATM's to the right before you get to the meeting point gate that I use if I need taxi money.
If you specifically need currency exchange, there are several in the same area run by the major Thai banks which I presume give you the going bank rate, but I've never actually used one.

There are a few places in Bangkok that give better rates than the banks for cash exchanges.
Haven't found any in HH though - just the usual bank branches with not much variation between them.

There's a Siam Commercial Bank desk as soon as you're past Immigration, it has the same rates as any other SCB.

Banks have better things to do than running around figuring different FX rates for different kiosks and ATMs.

Yesterday withdrawing from an ATM I received 32.00 per USD inclusive of all the fees, vs 31.91 Bangkok Bank buying rate. It's almost a toss up. Pete
