Redshirt protesters force Immigration Bureau HQ to close
BANGKOK: -- The offices of Immigration Bureau HQ in Bangkok was forced to close after lunch today Monday, after redshirts protesters holding a rally at the nearby Election Commission's office in Chaengwattana, and threaten to storm into the building.
Officials and other personnel working at Immigration Bureau HQ and other government agencies located at the Chaengwattana Govt centre have been instructed to go home.
Immigration, banks and government offices will also be closed tomorrow Tuesday, as April 6 is a public holiday (Chakri Day).

April 6 commemorates the founding of the Chakri Dynasty in 1782 by King Rama I.
