Gym In Market Village

Post by Gail »

Can anyone tell me what they think of it and whether there are any other alternatives in town. Too many fried noodles lately and too hot to walk around, so something drastic needs to be done.

There are four gyms that I know of;

Grand Sport (Gym and Boxing arena) for serious lifters or boxers, no a/c
Hilton Gym on the mezzanine level, monthly and annual memberships
Newish Gym out on the top of Soi 94 (I have a friend who goes there and likes it)
New Gym mentioned by you in Market Village (I also have two friends who go there: changed from Soi 94 gym and they say it's the best, especially if you want classes like spin, yoga, or aerobics.)
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Gail, we've been members of the Hilton and now Market Village. For me Market Village wins because of standard and quantity of equipment and of course the classes they offer. That said I did enjoy my time at Hilton....depends on what you are after, Hilton has squash and tennis courts that Market Village doesn't offer.

Fach3003, try the gym on soi 93, membership rates are very reasonable and I believe you can pay per session, though a months membership might be just as good value. Grand Sport gym is a no-frills option, but not so much kit last time I was there.

Nice to have more options now in Hua Hin!

I think you meant Soi 94 (unless there's another one I'm not aware of on Soi 93).
