HH Cable to watch Australian Television Network / Sports

Post by bapak »

Are you using HH Cable to watch Australian Television Network / Sports?
Notice that some programs in the ATN schedule indicate that they are encrypted, i.e. Rugby Union Test Match - Australia v England on this Saturday at 17.00. Are they viewable on HH Cable?
Have attempted to get a answer from HH Cable with no response.

On the odd occasion you may get 10-30 minutes then off it goes to a black screen saying scrambled/encrypted or nothing. Don't think you can pay.

If desperate to see the game(s) and with no alternative, try streaming the game over the internet and linking to the TV/watching on PC screen. I know it's no great alternative, but I'm in the same boat here in western China without the luxury of cable or local pubs to watch the games   ....... I'll certainly be watching a live stream. I'm also in the same boat with low bandwidth, but generally get decent streaming.

Normally have a good choice through www.myp2p.eu (not limited to Rugby Union). You may have to download some software such as Sopcast, but this has never given me any trouble.

Thanks, pharvey... have had a look and it appears that I can use it.. will try a little later when a game is in progress..

In the meantime, Buffalo Bill has advised me that he will have access to ATN for the rugby games.

As it ended up, ATN not available.
Ended watching on internet via http://www.myp2p.eu / iraqgoals.tv (courtesy of Fox). Fairly stable reception despite HH ISP.
