Translation service

Post by Cat Woman »

Hi, I would like to get all our house purchase documentation translated into English so I can actually see what it says. I have been told all is in order but would like to check. Can anyone recommend a company in Hua Hin? TIA.

PA have moved.
They are now on the 5th floor of the Wong Chomsin building. Opposite soi 80 heading towards the main crossroads there is a pharmacy. Go down the soi next to it and the building is on the left. Telephone 032 532 974. If you just need to know what it says for peace of mind then why not have a Thai friend translate it.

Forgive me if I am wrong but there are different levels of Thai spoken and read and the Thai used to translate must be 'au fait' with the right level of lingo

Bit like me reading a legal document in the UK. Not written in laymans language at all

Thanks for your replies. As I'm only in HH on holidays and not full time I don't know that many people and thought a translation service would be easiest. I have a recommendation on another thread for a lawyer just to check over all the paperwork and confirm nothing has been missed so they will probably cover everything. Reading the property forum on here made me nervous about the things that can go wrong, I was in a happy fuzz getting my house and just need confirmation that all is well. Sure it is... (crossing fingers).

Yeah. I think you better have consultation with your lawyer, too. He/She might translate it to you better and explain the terms in the paper. However, translation services may also be available online. I think.

TCL English do a good technical translation too, not at lawyers prices I might add.
