I got her in 2004 with 17500k clocked.
The sort of driving the bike has done is approx 50k x 5 days a week. The same trip to and from work - half the trip on country roads and half on a fairly quiet dual carriageway. Very little town driving.
The Green book is presently getting its annual update, due for return on 6th Dec.
Engine was worked on in 2007 (about 55000k) - new cylinder lining, piston rings and gaskets etc.About a year later, new clutch rings.
She has a service every 3 months or 3000k at a recognised local garage - the guys there know her and are okay. She could do with a new front tyre in about 1000k (approx 1500bht) - the rear should be okay for another 4/5000.
Sale due to move abroad. I have loved owning and riding this bike, she has been perfect for me, totally reliable, fun and forgiving and I don’t see any reason why she will not continue to be the same for any new owner.
