Does anyone know where to buy CCTV (camera surveillance) products in Hua Hin?

SJ may do it (click on Home Alarm Systems) at the top right of the page. If not, these people do:

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

There a shop on soi dinousaur on the left as you take the left on the main crossings on the canal road.

Hope you know what you want as can be a bit of a mine field all the choices.

I've got mine running through all the TV's in the house as well as the PC which is nice!

hhfarang: Thanks for the tip. I give them a call when I come down to HH Dec 28. Looks promising!
JimmyGreaves: Soi Dinosaur (haven´t heard of it but from your description I think I can find it....). Your system is wireless I assume....
Up here in Phetchabun I doubt I´ll find these products.

There is a place next to the German Bakery on Petchkasem Road ( about opposite Intercontinental Hotel). Seems to have fair amount of stock.. Also has satellite items.

Oh! The sacrifices I make for HHAD. Went to Germany Bakery this morning just so I could check the correct address.

Yontahai Electronics
4/118 Petchkasem Road (near Soi 88 and Nicha Hotel.. next to Germany Bakery.

If you want email and phone, PM me.

Hi parbeau, we work with a local Thai run CCTV company on occassions when customers ask, they installed our system and some friends and their quality and service can't really be faulted. They don't have a shop or website, but if you want to be put in contact with them just contact me.

Here's a clip of their system outside the back of our house when a panty thief visited, he later died of intoxication poisoning for which my wife feels quite proud. The video quality is a bit poorer (ie: the white lines across the screen) because it's made from a video recorder filming playback on our TV:

I would say their products are the same as other companies in Hua Hin provide.

Hi Super Joe,

Funny video that, for a while it seems as the burglar´s gonna do your laundry....
Thanks for all valuable tips. Now I´ll have many companies to choose from during my 7-day visit to Hua Hin. Thing is though, I was only looking for some (cheap?) off-the-shelf system that I can mount and install myself at my house in Phetchabun.
Happy New Year

Hi, in that case apart from the one bapak has mentioned, there's a small stall-type set-up outside HomePro on 2nd floor MV, also a computer shop on 3rd floor MV supplies them, it's a few units in from the very front face of MV, ie: Petchakasem Road end.

Also I think I've seen them on 3rd floor of the old shopping mall, where IT City and the new computer 'centre' is. And this new electronics/electrical/computer good store, 'Power Buy' at the junction of Soi 88/Petchakasem Road looked like it was virtually open today, or at least very close, staff were in and out etc.

Try (Telca huahin .com) no spaces!!
sorry about the gaps in the address but apparently as a new member I cannot publish links for ya.

They have the main offices in Bangkok.
They have just fitted mine for me 4 x 50m night and day cameras that can be viewed via the internet from anywhere.
So you can see your house being robbed whilst on holiday ! haha.

I guess this is as good a place as any to post.
Does anybody know about, or have seen, a "dashboard" camera to put in a car. Plenty of info about them on the Internet, but having trouble finding one in Thailand.
