Anyone know or heard of a shop in Hua Hin that sells camping equipment?
I'm after a 'solar shower' bag you hang up and you later take a shower with the warmed up water (having placed it in the sunlight for a few hours)...
Camping Shop in Hua Hin?
Re: Camping Shop in Hua Hin?
Maybe the army supply shop in Pranburi?
I would have thought after reading your DIY solar thread that a bin bag with a hose attached would not be too much of a challenge to make.

On your way to bkk on the right hand side of Phetchkasem rd, just past that flash hotel. I think it's the asara? there is a block of 3 story shops. Its about 3 k's north of the palace, maybe a little less. There is a army type surplus store there, i have seen tents etc out the front, you may want to try your luck there. They have those things floating out the front driven by a blower motor, they are brownish camo in colour.

OK, that`s where I saw it. The hotel is Anantara, opposite the Toyota dealer and Soi 6.jimmy40 wrote:On your way to bkk on the right hand side of Phetchkasem rd, just past that flash hotel. I'll take a look when I'm next in Hua Hin on that one.
Cheers

Re: Camping Shop in Hua Hin?
Not sure if it's still there or not but there used to be an open area selling camping equipment on the third floor of Market Village Mall in the area near the movie theater entrance.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
