I'm a fully paid up member of the mile high club (honest) and I would not bother flying with them.
You would never get in the loo, as the Stewards/stewardesses would always be in there touching up their faces, amongst other things.

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

Re: PC Air
I think past and possibly a present part of military helicopter pilot training is wearing full fight gear, and be strapped into a seat in a mock up cockpit frame, the whole thing turned upside down and dropped into a pool. The trainee then has to extract himself before of course....he drowns. Divers in the water and standing by for assistance. Now there's a flight crew requirement they should think about.

Re: PC Air
Not only Military, Pete. I have been through the training numerous times while working Offshore. (not as flight crew). It is called H.U.E.T., and is now pretty much a requirement anywhere in the World for Offshore workers travelling by helicopter.prcscct wrote:I think past and possibly a present part of military helicopter pilot training is wearing full fight gear, and be strapped into a seat in a mock up cockpit frame, the whole thing turned upside down and dropped into a pool. There is a training facility in Bangkok that offers it, but I have not attended that one.

May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!
