Does anyone know if there is a product which you can buy off the shelf which you can put down on your floor tiles which will stop them being slippery?
We have serious issues with the tiles outside our house which we need to get fixed

Re: Slippery Tiles
taking them all up and replacing them with non slip tiles is the proper solution, but im guessing that you have already considered that.
some clear varnish sprinkled with fine silica sand will act like non slip deck paint and will be clear,re coat once dry. but, it will get dirty very quickly and in the hot sun will not last.
but could be worth a try.

Our 3 year old solved this problem by spilling a bottle of Sprite on the floor. It quickly dried, and provides a very long-lasting stickiness to tiles, and even seems to stand up to repeated mopping and cleaning. Very cost effective, and readily available off the shelf of most stores in Thailand.
If assistance in application is needed, I'm sure that our 3 year old will be available for a very reasonable daily rate.

Even the non-slip type, isn't, when it's raining hard. Best bet is never to go barefoot in wet weather and have a good pair of rubber sole sandals waiting outside the door at all times. Pete

Sandwash is best for an outdoor non-slip surface but has other disadvantages such as keeping it clean or cracks appearing.
Home-Pro and other places sell a self adhesive tape that resembles sandpaper in different colours, useful for tiled step edges or smaller areas. There's also a liquid you can apply that will etch and roughen the surface slightly.

Replace them with stamped concrete in a pattern with non slip grooves.
