I'll be in Cha-Am with my family for a week later in Sept (Sheraton) . I will look you guys up for a drink or two. I think you said Bernies Bar is a good regular meeting place as I would like to organise a game of golf or 5.

Heads up... - what is the going rate for a taxi from Cham Am Sheraton to Bernies - and will a taxi driver know Bernies Bar ?

Next Question: RWC - if we come to Hua Hin for a meal - where can we also watch the Rugby ?

ps - Are we all enjoying the Rugby ?

Hi bloke, I live near the sheriton. My taxi fare is 300 baht [$9] and about 11 k's. Most of the meet outs are at J,W"s bar. Footy is on at el murpheys and food to, London bar footy but i am not sure if there is food, and there will be others. If you don't want your kids asking funny questions than Jw'S is not a girl type bar nor is el murfs but you can see them walking around in skimpy type clothes outside of both places, it won't be blantently obvios though.
I am not sure where bernies is, but anywhere in the Bintabaht area is, well lets say seedy.Just ask your tuk tuk to take you to the big temple you can walk everywhere from there, or go to the hilton, you can walk to everywhere from there aswel. Print out the map on this site may well help.

Bernies is in a complex of bars next to the Hilton and you have to walk down a small alley so be aware that you can't see it from the road.
