Bomb in south Thailand

Post by Arcadian »

I read a headline on Sky News that a bomb in Thailand had killed 3 and injured many others, but I cannot find any more details. Does anyone know anything?

Absolutely dreadful - there was a video of the aftermath posted on the Telegraph (UK) website, but a bit too graphic to post here IMO.

This was in a tourist area and at least one foreign national was killed...

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Sungai Kolok is a border town. It's a R&R place for Malaysians a bit like Hat Yai and Dan Nok but cheaper. You can walk through the town in 20 minutes and pass (if you can) around 100 bars doing it. Used to go there in 90's when I did a visa run to Kota Baru. This is not the first time there is a blast in this wild south town.
