Are there any r/c plane / helicopter clubs in Hua Hin ? I am thinking about buying one but would like to talk to someone about what i should buy as i know nothing !!

I am with you, want one but know nothing.
I will be HH over Christmas period will send you a pm as would like to get into it.
From talking to others it is not as easy as it looks, I would probably go for a small chopper and learn first.

A neighbour of ours' is a pilot with Air Asia and he flies a toy helicopter around our little soi and seems pretty proficient - ie he hasn't crashed it yet or decapitated anyone as far as I know.
I've heard he flies it in more open areas together with quite a few other enthusiasts but I'm not sure exactly where.
He dosn't come down to HH that often but I'll try and remember to ask him about places to buy/fly next time I see him.
