Need to find a doctor in HH. Would prefer a falang but whatever. Haven't been out at night my first two nights in HH or the last two in BKK. I know beer is going to wipe me out. To put it bluntly I seem to have a mild intermittent case of the runs. I'm good for hours then.... A gram of Zithro didn't kill it. Gawd, I hope I don't have the parasite again.
thanks, Jay

Re: Need doctor recommendation
Thanks for the links BB. I usually spend 4-5 months in SE Asia during the US winter. So familiar with the stuff in the first link. But good stuff for the newly initiated. I read some rather unflattering reviews about the organization of the BKK HH hospital. But they were posted not long after it opened. I presume things have since smoothed out.
I feel somewhat better today so probably will make the mistake of putting a trip to the doctor off one more day.
thanks again,
Jay

Look up GIARDIA on the net. A parasite, very common here--asians tolerate it well, farangs do not.

Dr. Mike would know better than me but ciprophlaxican always worked for me. Can by it over the counter here in Thailand.
Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?
