Electronic Equipment

Post by aragon »

Apologies if this is an old topic, I did run a search on this and drew a blank, therefore does anyone have any suggestions on the best place to buy electronic equipment (LED TV, DVD, Music System etc.) in or around HH?

I would suggest Big Kiang. There's 2 stores - 1 heading south after the flyover, the other slightly south of Market village on the opposite side of the road.

The one closer to market village is the one you want, selling TV's, DVD's and the rest. The one further south is generally furniture. We basically furnished our house between the two with a couple of exceptions, and have zero complaints. Good prices, good service - end of.

Wouldn't disagree about Big Kiang being a good choice, but the main shop on Petchkasm opposite Market Village is now closed and they have a brand new and much bigger outlet, 100 metres up Soi 88 on the right. As you will be in the area, it is worth looking at the outlet on the corner of 88 and Petchkasm just for a comparison (can't remember the name). There is of course Homepro and Tesco in Market Village, but not many peoples favourite shopping experiences!!

We recently went shopping for 3 aircon units. Big Kiang was our choice,, both for price and installation.
