You may have to settle for strips cut from a foam food take-away box. :D Pete

I would think balsa would be a quick snack for termites around here before they move on the the main course of harder woods.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I wonder if those shops that sell all kinds of stuff for students might have it as they do have a lot of craft materials. It can't be impossible to find as you can even grow it in Thailand.

Pen and paper on phetkasm road next to esso petrol station just before the traffic lights do balsa wood. As do the stationary shop if you turn right at the lights. 50m up on left hand side

Hi
Have just read the link from 2009, where you have made a model of a house. Very impressive.
Are planning to build my own house up north, at the end of the year. So are currently working on making some drawings. The misses can not read drawings, so she don´t understand what I´m doing, so I would like to do the same as you have done, make a model, then maybe she would be able to understand ?

Could you give a better description, where to find this shops ? Thanks Leo

there are now 4 (i think) lights on phetkasem road.
the one near bangkok hospital- not this one.
the one near the palace- not this one.
the one near the police station leading to the train station- not this one.
the one near the esso station.- this one.
if coming from the north it is the second set of lights.
if coming from the south it is the third set of lights.

if from the south the esso station is after the lights on the right.
if coming from the north the esso station is on the left before the lights.
if coming from the south, pen and paper is the shop just after the esso station.
if coming from the north pen and paper is the shop just before the esso station.

if coming from the south turn left at these lights and 50m on left hand side is other stationary shop.
if coming from the north turn right at these lights the shop is in the same location as above.

:D

if you can find them from the above directions. return home and start again.
if you still can find them then abandon all hope and go down the pub.

Kendo is right.
Boatyards are much easier to find.
But usually a long way from traffic lights.
This is the way

Very collered decription, you must have spend some time on it.
I had expected something like: Between soi ? and Soi ?, on left/right side if you come from North/south. :thumb:
I give it a tray anyway

If you are coming from Cha Am direction it is on the left hand side just before the traffic lights that turn into Chomsin road
