Just a question how are you going to bring the fuel out i would imagine you will struggle to source it in Hua Hin.

Most of the aircraft is converted to batteries now.
With my heli I can fly for about 6 min.

Thais do seem to favour RC helicopters. There used to be a model shop on SraSong Rd in HH but I think it's long gone. It may have moved or it may be that there simply wasn't the demand.

I have a Align T-Rex 500.
Not so common in Thailand.
It seems that the most Align choppers is the 450.
I have been looking for some parts in chinatown Bkk.
You can find almost everything there except for the 500 and bigger machines

Google "Phetchaburi RC" and "translate this page" before entering the page. This will put you into the local Rc club page, a sub forum of a site which covers all RC clubs in Thailand.

Understand they fly from an army camp situated between HH and Cha Am.

Joined their discussion thread some time back, in English, but have not been active, you would need to join their forum to ask questions and maybe you could make some good contacts.

I am waiting for the cooler weather to finish my 6 foot wingspan, self design fueler. Balsa dust and a steady flow of sweat is not a pretty sight. When complete I will contact them again as it will need a pretty long runway.

Found a small model shop in Phetchaburi a couple of blocks towards town from the Phetcharat Hospital, on RH side.
Stock is not brilliant but purchased a gallon of nitro, maybe a club member could bring you some through.

Its an older thai fella that runs it who has been
into Radio Control planes and stuff for 30 years.

Knows his stuff

Has some big planes and helicopters on display
one of the helicopters is about 3 ft high and 6ft long..

im not bright enough to fly anything : )

Any shops in HH that sells Lipo batteries ? If i bring my aircraft with me i dont want to bring a bunch of batterys with me on the plane.

Or do you perhaps know of a webpage to a shop in BKK that sells Lipo batterys ?
