Baptism in Hua Hin.
Can anybody help? We are meeting my son, who lives in Sydney, in Hua Hin for Christmas. He wants my daughter to be Godmother to his new son and previously we have gone to Australia for the Christening of his first son. For various reasons we do not want to go all the way to Oz this time. My question is will the Catholic church in Hua Hin be prepared to do a baptism where just one Godparent is present. There would be another ceremony in Sydney for the Oz family.

Re: Baptism in Hua Hin
My advice would be to go and ask them on a Sunday morning. There was actually a Baptism between the Thai and English services last week and as far as I could tell there was only one Godparent present. It was a short simple service all in Thai so I cannot tell you much else about it. Both Priests speak good English and probably the best time to approach them is around 1015 between the two services or after the English service.
