Where to buy a hammock?

Post by thaifan »

Hello, just moved into my new house and looking for a nice, wide, comfortable hammock to hang under my sala. Looking for local expertise in terms of suggestions for a place that has some for sale?

Grateful for your responses.

Thanks for a fantastically quick responses!

Any other tips? TTTM looks like a great product, but I'm looking for a more classic design, i.e. canvas material, spreader bars, etc....

Thanks!

Thaifan............you get very nice woven hammocks which I think are made from bamboo or something similar. They're a rigid sort of design, and very nice. Not sure where you'd find one, but I do recall having seen them for sale at a number of places around Hua-Hin.

Rob-W.........I saw free standing hammocks at market village a short while ago. I actually stopped and had a good look at them to see if they're as good a quality as the one I had from Vietnam, and to be honest, they did appear to be. They were on display just outside Homepro.

There is a shop almost opposite the Royal Palace (I think it is called Thai Wood) where they sell this type of hammock. Ask for Mia and I am sure she will be able to help you.
