Visa question

Post by migrant »

I have not paid a lot of attention on visa questions since we come in for less than 30 days each year.
But this year friends are traveling with us, and they want to go to Cambodia, then return to Thailand.

The whole trip is less than 30 days, fly to BKK, roam around Thailand 10 days, fly to Cambodia for 3 days, fly back to Thailand for 2, then back to the states.

Do they need anything special?

I'll stick to tax law, easier to understand!!

They'll be OK without a visa.
As you know, you get 30 days permission to stay automatically on entry at the airport and your friends will get that again when they return from Cambodia.

I would play safe and keep an eye on available passport space though - entry visas to Cambodia take up a full page alone, and I don't know what their rules are on pages left on entry. Lomu?

Don't think there are restrictions on pages left now, Mags. As long as you can fit it in etc.
Most countries do want 6 months validity left on passport to get a visa though - ie in this instance Cambodia.
The people involved here will only need a couple of pages.

I just renewed my passport due to the six months. I figured just to be safe.
