Hello

Post by AllanH »

I have joined the forum as a way to become more knowledgeable of Hua Hin life (pitfalls, opportunities etc) as we continue to contemplate decisions or where to retire within Asia. Retirement is still some time off, but we have bought a small place and want to visit regularly to help make a decision. We would want to be active during retirement and not spending all time in bars and golf courses (but won't exclude that) and so will look for information and post when I can add value or have a question I don't see already asked. Long winded introduction, but hello all!

Welcome to the forum Allan. Just to confirm, you say you are looking at deciding where to retire in Asia but then also mention you have bought a small place - if so where?

We have a place at The Residence next to Stamford University. It is a day let resort and so generates a little income as well, but main intent is just to stay in Hua Hin more often as we look for somewhere more substantial to retire into.
