Want to purchase Squash or Racketball Racket?

Post by jumusman »

Hi everyone. Went to the Hilton today and decided I will do a 3 month membership, I like the fact they have squash/racketball courts. Drove to Market Village to buy a racket and there was nothing in Sport Dome on the 3rd floor or Tesco/Lotus, only Tennis or Badminton rackets.

Seeing as I am new to town I am not familiar with any other places I might be able to buy a squash or racketball racket. If anyone has a clue I would appreciate it, it will be better than renting one at the Hilton, that's a pricey option. Thanks, Jamie.

Yeah I was in Pattaya last week and really should have gotten one, too late now. I just assumed there would be a place in Hua Hin to buy something like this.

Does anyone know of a sports store in Hua Hin other that the one at Market Village ?

There's a small sports shop on the corner of Soi 55/1 and Naebkhehars Road - Grid C4 on this map.

I doubt they will have one in stock, but they have a large catalogue that they will order from for you. I obtained a lot of my karate equipment through their catalogue, and it arrived the next day.

Well I found this place, not exactly on the corner of Soi 55/1 and Naebkhehars but was just a little ways down. I am not sure if this is the place you were talking about but they had a catalog and could order squash rackets for me! Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. I also purchased a badminton racket from the same store. I would rather give my money to a little mom and pop shop like that than buy it from Tesco/Lotus. They don't need the money.

Hi there, I am going tomorrow to sign up for a 3 month membership, I will let you know. From what I remember you can buy a membership with the pool included but it was quite a bit more.

Here are the prices for the Hilton membership. As you can see the pool only comes with the 1 year membership, otherwise you are paying allot of money per month to swim in the pool. I signed up for the 3 month membership. Next I need to find someone to play Squash with! I played today with the guy that works there but you have to pay 360 baht for each hour. That is expensive.

Are you a member or non member ? All depends on your situation. If you have a 3 month or more membership you don't pay to rent the squash court it is included.
