Mrs Takiap just bought me one as a gift, and I must admit, it's quite a tidy bit of kit, but it does take some getting used to. Never used anything like it before, but I suppose I'll soon figure it all out....lol.

It depends on how many Gb it is (16gb,32gb or 64gb) and whether or not it's Wi-Fi only, or Wi-Fi+3G.
The model for sale above is around 11,300 baht in the shops.

We are still trying to decide between the I-Pad Mini and the New I-Pad. It's a difficult choice, we like the smaller size (easier to hold & to travel with) and cheaper price of the Mini, however the full size I-Pad would be more suitable for at home probably, but more expensive of course.

Yes, that's another option, I have friends coming over from NZ soon, I am thinking of getting them to bring one over. I haven't seen them for sale in Hua Hin.
