Water Shortages or Municipal Plumbing Issues in Hua Hin Bofa

Does anyone know what the deal is with the water being shut off in Bofai Hua Hin (Around Soi 6)? (Yes, I paid my water bills)

It's too early in the year for rationing.

Some have said that there was a water main break near the municipal plant others say that there were 2 water main breaks and that repairs are still ongoing (surprise...)

Our water-supply was off this last week, so it could be a maintenance issue..? When the water DID come back on it was dirty for a while which suggests possible pipe-work..?

Ours has been and still is off. However, having live in Soi 6 for several years, we tend to count the number of days we do get water rather than count the days we don't get any. Oh, and no it is not getting better so no matter what the tessabaan say, sweet bugger all is being done to address the problem. We've also gone from being one of the cleanest sois to being one of the filthiest which is starting to remind me of the shanty towns back in SA. Some highly educated intelligent fart decided the soi no longer requires waste skips, and that three wheelie bins should be just fine a few thousand homes. The result of course is that the magnificent soi dogs distribute all the excess waste evenly all over the place.

I wish someone would drive up and down the road with a mounted machine gun and do the beasts a favor, and then maybe visit the tessabaan after that.
