The permanent secretaries of all ministries and directors-general of all departments, and those in equivalent positions, will take part in the anti-corruption declaration at 2pm.
Mr Teerat said Ms Yingluck is confident her cabinet members are not only capable of running the administration of their respective ministries but also willing to join forces to combat and suppress corruption to create a new image of the cabinet in order to win worldwide recognition.
Heads of government offices in the ministerial, department and provincial levels as well as top administrators of state enterprises, rectors of university-level education institutes, and directors of public organisations will be appointed chief anti-corruption officers attached to the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) to strengthen the PACC's ability in combating graft.
The spokesman said the prime minister also wants the people's sector to help combat corruption by sending information on corrupt practices to a special complaints box, making a call via hotline 1206, or by visiting the website http://www.stopcorruption.go.th.
The prime minister interrupted her visit to Nakhon Phanom to attend the swearing in of her new ministers on Sunday. She flew back last night and today resumed her inspections of development projects, the spokesman said.

Thought:

I thought the jokes were supposed to be played on April 1st - not July 1st!
The headline should read: "Yingluck declares war on the corrupt that oppose her brother". I wonder how much you'll need to bung the anti-corruption officers before they agree not to grass you up for corruption.
