Ad- Blocker for Streaming Sites

Post by PET »

I stream a lot with Crictime, eg Sky Sports 1,2,3 7 4 etc and one constantly has small boxes which need to be clicked to delete otherwise annoying ads start - anybody know an Ad-Blocker that will do away with these ads that is safwe?

^ The way I do it, which has always worked up to now, was simply to close the add (red cross) - and then go to FULL SCREEN. The pop-up adds only seem to come up when viewing on the small/partial screen.

Aside from that, if you're using Firefox there are numerous add-ons.

These sites are well aware of ad blocking technology and usually the videos refuse to load if you have one active. As pharvey said, go full screen after the initial spate of pop ups and they won't bother you again.

Ok but my problem is that when I click the small screen,to go full screen?- nothing happens! Any ideas why the full screen does not work?

^ Are you clicking on the correct "screen" - use the one highlighted and ringed below (not the "screen" only highlighted): -
