I'm a confident motorist and motorcyclist. Even so, the number of accidents or near-accidents I've witnessed in the last few weeks, would sew doubt in anyone's mind.
Here's the two most common driving errors I see.
1. Stationary vehicle, perhaps after a school drop-off, tries to make a U-turn, motorbike hits the car.
2. I'm about to make a right turn, indicator on, on a main road, when 'Whoooosh!' a young idiot tears past me on a motorbike within a split second of me making the turn. (happened to me twice in the last week)
If you are in a car, when hit, you may escape serious injury but if on a bike, you will not.
There are other scenarios which members are free to mention but it feels like silly season and a reminder to stay alert seems appropriate.
Stay safe out there.
CAUTION REQUIRED - Common Road Traffic Accidents
Re: CAUTION REQUIRED - Common Road Traffic Accidents
Another common one is when bikes amble across several lanes because they don't know where they're going or are on the phone.

My Grandfather taught me that while driving think that everyone else driving is a damn fool and doesn't know what they are doing. If I remember that it keeps you much more aware
The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.

I've never had my camera handy when I've seen 4 or more on a m'bike and now there is another shot that I've seen but not captured--3 on a bike and all 3 of them on phones.
