Ok my 1 year Motorbike License expires on the 28th. I have been reading the forum but everything seems specific to either Car Driving license or renewing a 5 year license and I am not 100% sure.
Specifically I want to know what I will need to renew my 1 year license to the 5 year license for a motorbike ? I would hate to drive down to Pranburi twice just because I didn't have the right information.
Someone told me that you can slip the lady behind the counter a "tip" and she will take care of it for you but I am not sure if they were joking or not. This is Thailand so it's a possibility! All they really have to do is change the dates and print out another card... Thx!

Re: 1 Year Motorbike Renewal Question
Why would you want to slip the lady some money, just do it the right way and it is easy as can be.
You must have one year Non Imm O / retirement visa, get a medical certificate, letter from immigration, copies of your passport, go to Pranburi fill in the form, pay the fee, you may have to take the eye coordination test and that's it, five year license.
If you are not sure ask a Thai to phone Pranburi and question what you have to do.
It really is no problem

Re: 1 Year Motorbike Renewal Question
I agree with SteveP, it's pretty straightforward just remember to take copies of everything as well as the originals, so copies of passport page showing your visa and personal details, your old licence and proof of residence from immigration. Don't think you need a photo as they take one there, but no harm in having one in your pocket. You can get the medical letter from most clinics confirming you do not have any of the 5 diseases they stipulate, I think they charge 100-200 baht for the letter.

Re: 1 Year Motorbike Renewal Question
Thanks everyone, I just came back from Pranburi and they informed me the same as you did above. I will head back Monday with the updated paperwork!
