Applying online for visas to Uk for family?

Post by Khundon1975 »

We have been having trouble with the UK Border agency online visa application site.
We have used it several times in the past to apply online for visas as family/General visitors to Uk.

Now, when I go to the A-Z forms section for the Vaf1a and Vaf1b forms they seem to be missing from the list of forms, together with several other sections of the alphabet?

Bit of a bugger really, as I usually apply online for all visas from here in Uk and also book the interviews for the family, so all they have to do is turn up with the required documentation, go through interviews and 3 days later their passports turn up with visa stamp and they jump on the plane to UK.

Does anyone know if they have changed the system, so that online applications can now only be done if you are actually in Thailand?

Tried talking to them on the phone but cannot seem to get any information out of them. :cuss:

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

They are introducing a new website:

https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/

This might help.

Well that site is much better to use than the last one.

7 visa's applied and paid for and interviews booked. All in one hour.

Cheers nanyang.
