Atheists have no need of a god. Our lives are not based on fear or guilt. We are moral because we know it's right.

Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity. R J Hanlon

Perfect.

We now all have a scientific rationale for our drinking, when being frowned upon by our repsective Thai spouse.

"Dear, I am drinking to take care of my health which would otherwise deteriorate due to the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)" (duh?)

It actually gets funnier, as the article states, "The PAHs created by grilling form from molecules called free radicals"

There is a James Bond movie with Sean Connory ( was it "Never Say Never"?) where Bond is told by the MI5 doctor to undergo treatment at a health clinic, the rationale being that his current diet is not good for him. As Moneypenny is to book the stay he tells her "I am to eliminate all Free Radcals" - at the times with youth rebellion, Rote Arme Fraktion and what not, Moneypenny though this was another dangerous mission.

Stouts, such as Guinness or Murphy's has more roasted barley than black ale so should be even better.

'Besides, they are amongst the most enjoyable of drinks - personally I prefer Murphys over Guinnes (I can hear the rebuttals coming now :guns: )

I often use beer or wine when cooking, sometimes I even put a splash in the food.
